My Story

I was born in Mexico and brought to the U.S. as an infant. Growing up, I faced the same challenges and lived the same dreams that you have likely faced and lived. That’s why I have poured my heart into immigration law.

I am intimately familiar with the mix of fear and hope you feel. I have felt these things myself, and I have come through my experiences with a desire to help others overcome their immigration struggles.

My Professional Background

Between my legal education, my corporate experience and my volunteer work, I have built a solid foundation to support you. I earned my Juris Doctor from Seattle University School of Law in 2023. I am also a Senior Immigration Manager at Edifecs, Inc., a healthcare technology company with a global scope. I served as a Legal Extern there as well, which allowed me to aid in-house counsel with a wide range of legal matters. And I have put my energy into legislative advocacy with the Global Rights Advocacy Group, focusing on significant issues like reducing the extensive incarceration of immigrants and tackling deep-seated structural inequalities.

Before establishing my own law firm, I was a Law Clerk at The Ladik Law Firm, PLLC, where I helped handle immigration issues for professional athletes. I have also worked as a paralegal at Fragomen, Del Rey, Bernsen & Loewy, LLP, and Berry Appleman and Leiden LLP. At these law firms, I oversaw an extensive array of immigration projects for Fortune 500 companies, equipping me with the experience to handle complex immigration issues with attention and precision.

I am a proud member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. Speaking both English and Spanish fluently, I bridge cultures with ease and bring clarity to your legal concerns.

A Family Affair

While I am the sole attorney at The Law Office of Ana Y. Romero, PLLC, I do not run the firm alone. My husband Jon is a big part of the team, handling many office responsibilities. He is likely to greet you and ensure that everything runs smoothly for you.
